The Virginia Callahan Learning Center is named in honor of a woman whose dedication to her profession was only excelled by her dedication to her students and colleagues. The facility was dedicated in 1992. The library of the new Underwood Campus will carry her name as well. |

| The Vivian Hubert Collection |

Vivian Hubert was a much beloved teacher at Underwood Elementary who lost her battle with cancer in 2004. To continue Vivian's devotion to student literacy, her friends, family, former students, and colleagues created a special fund in her honor to purchase books for the enjoyment and betterment of all Underwood Elementary students for.
