Welcome to 8th grade science. In this class we will research several different aspects of science. We start the year off with the basics of scientific method and lab procedures. Then we move to astronomy, chemistry, physics, and then on to earth sciences. The focus will be on understanding the basic concepts that influence our everyday life along with the TEKS.
I graduated from AHS in 1994 and from Texas Tech University in 2001. My first teaching/coaching job was in Tahoka, Texas. After one year there, I returned to Andrews. My wife Christy, (also an AHS graduate), and I were married in 1997 and currently have two children; Brenna, who is 2-1/2 and Brayton, who is 3 months old.
