This is my 9th year at AMS. I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade P.E., coach 7th grade football, 8th grade basketball, and 7th and 8th grade track.
This job gives me the opportunity to teach and learn from these students as they grow from elementary-age to entering high school, and I really get to know them after three years. It's a great job to have and the students at AMS are the best in West Texas, hands down. |

Teaching P.E. is really rewarding. We get to go outside or into the gym and play games, while the students learn with hands-on activities. |

8th grade basketball |
| The 8th grade boys basketball team is a great group of hard-working players that are improving every day. I look forward to every practice because their work ethic and desire to get better makes each practice productive. |

7th grade football |
| My 7th grade 'A' team won 5 games and lost 3 this year. They were a talented, hard-working group that I enjoyed coaching. They will win a lot of games on Friday nights in the near future, no doubt. |
