My name is Marsha Chisum and I teach 8th grade math. I am new to the Andrews school system this year. I have 24 years
experience in teaching 7th or 8th grade math. I feel part of the success with your child in my class is if we keep in constant communication with each other throughout the year.

I want to take this opportunity to tell you what to expect from my class. I send a math folder home every three weeks
for you to view your child's work. Along with the folder I
send your child's current average. I ask that you sign the
folder and the progress report and return both to me. No child should ever fail my class because any failing grade in the folder can be brought up if your child will come see me before school, at lunch, or after school for extra help. I come to school by 7:30 every morning and stay late every day except Fridays to tutor students individually.
